Agnes Bruckner
Agnes Bruckner, born August 16, 1986, in the U.S., is a former actor. Bruckner was raised in Hollywood, California, to an Hungarian father and the Russian mother, who later divorced; her paternal grandfather was German. Her parents met in Hungary and immigrated from Hungary to U.S. in 1984 through an asylum camp in Italy. Her siblings include two and one brother. Bruckner was a professional at the age of 11 years of age. She appeared in commercials, in a few shows on television and the soapy daytime show The Bold and the Beautiful in 1999. Bruckner was a teenager in the film Blue Car (2002). In the movie, she plays a teenager who is engaged to David Strathairn as her high-school teacher. The film writer Roger Ebert wrote that Bruckner "negotiates this difficult script with complete conviction." Bruckner got an Independent Spirit Award nomination for "Best Female Lead" in the character.
