Anna Heche and Anne Lockhart

Anne Celeste Heche (born in 1939) was an American actress who played various roles in television, films and the theater. Her work was recognized with many awards, among them her Daytime Emmy Award as well as a National Board of Review Award. Anne Celeste Heche (May 25 1969 - August 11, 2022) was an American actress. She made her debut portraying twins Vicky Hudson and Marley Love in the soap opera Another World (1987-1991) winning the Daytime Emmy Award and two Soap Opera Digest Awards. In the late 1990s she was more well-known for her part in the movie Donnie Brasco, a crime drama. Anne Lockhart, born Anne Kathleen Maloney in September 1953, is an American actress. She's best-known as Lieutenant Sheba from the Battlestar Galactica TV series from 1978-1979. Her mother is actress June Lockhart. Her grandfather was actor Gene Lockhart. Lockhart's professional career started very in the beginning. Her first appearance came aged four, when she appeared in T is for Tumbleweed. The film, which was a short one subject, was considered for nomination to an Oscar award. The mother and daughter spent much of their time in the set, and learning about the industry. Lockhart has even appeared on numerous Lassie episodes. Dora in Jory, 1972 was her first film. Joan Crawford's daughter was her character in The Sixth Sense, a television series from 1972. Joan made her last appearance in the series. Anne declined Laurie Strode's role in John Carpenter's Halloween the year 1978. Jaime Lee Curtis later played the part. John. Carpenter says that he wanted her for the role but that she turned it down. Anne is unable to recall John Carpenter having contacted her nor offering the role. Agents could have rejected the role on her behalf and without her knowledge. Glen Larson initially selected her to play the character of Battlestar Galactica in 1978. The script was sent to him in rough form. The character was not strong enough to convince her to take on the part. Glen was able to write an even stronger character with Sheba. The Living Legend, the initial twenty-five pages she read, was immediately accepted. It lasted for one season. She co-starred with Desi Arnaz Jr. (son of Desi Arnaz and Lucille Ball) Melanie Griffith and Robert Carradine in the movie Joyride (1977) and also co-starred along with Michael Moriarty in the horror movie The Dark Tower (1987).
